Discussion: Unit is a small circular shaped deposit of burned and eroded clay that appears to have been dumped in the middle of the hearth F. 7402. The material seems to have been burned in situ, perhaps with other material due to presence and high density of charcoal. This event suggesting dumping of material into the hearth for burning , as all the other previously excavated hearth layers are compacted like the laminated floors that have been used repeatedly. This material is loose and clumpy. Could be construction material that was attemped to be disposed of by burning.
