Discussion: A fragment of baked clay orientated N-S. 30093 was characterized as being 'pinched' upwards to create a rounded triangular profile, though there were no impressions indicative of finger pressure this is an accurate conceptualization. 30093 extends 32338. A relationship that was only determined whilst attempting to determine the nature of the stratigraphy of the deposits forming the NE corner of hearth F7957.

Previously, 30093 and 32338 were thought to be the same context. This contiguity confused and was preventing the clarification of the stratigraphic relationships between: 30080 30093 30095 32327. However, examining 30093 and further excavation of its physical relationships showed that it was an extension of an earlier deposit that returns eastwards to become a part of the limit of the sunken area XXXX. Particularly significant was the revelation that 30093 overlay 30080, meaning that 30080 was a very early deposit associated with the initial use of Hearth F7957, as represented by 32338, which 30093 extended
