Discussion: Small block of material that was very similar in appearance to (2870), definitely appears to be part of oven structure, on outside rim material, but wheteher as aprt of the structure associated with the floor (2865) or possibly part of an earlier phase of the oven F.87 not certain. 

Recognition: Recognised while excavating (2870). (2852) spearated (2870) and (3116). 

Definition: Well defined, clear. 

Execution: Trowel. 

Condition: Dry. 

Consistency: firm to friable 

Colour: 10 YR 6/2 light brownish grey (dry) 

Texture: clayey silt 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: n/a 

Post-depositional Features: n/a
