Unit 32520
Category: Layer dug in 2016
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: surface
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: white clay; Deposition: single; Basal Spit: unpainted
Description: 32520 continued up on to the north face of Bench F.7966.
Discussion: Though the interface with the lower context 32532 was 'smooth' in that it had little varience in clarity or depth it was not 'even' because 32532 itself was an uneven context varying in depth 0.03m north to south (the north was higher). This difference occurred abruptly 1.66m for the Bench F7966 along a fracture line which had created a step in the context 32532. Nor was 32532 in good condition with the plaster surface being ruptured in several places to reveal the rubble formation deposit.
32520: A resurfacing of the platform necessitated by structural and use damage to 32521.
