Dimensions: 0.34 E-W x 0.45 N-S m x up to 10mm thick
Discussion: ashy layer same as 3326 - fire debris , overlies and slumped onto plaster layer 3364 where it follows contours of cut 3658
Recognition: northern area revealed last year, southern area exposed when bin walls were removed. Dark grey ash and charcoal layer. Drop in level to south. Not sure yet whether it is slumped into bin cut or cut by it
Definition: peters out to the north, cut to the east by post retrieval pit, continues into LOE to west, beyond this baulk it is called 3326. Probably cut by bin to south
Execution: leaf, not fully excvated, some left in micromorphology baulk
Condition: dry, covered
Consistency: friable
Colour: 7.5 YR 6/1 grey
Texture: sand 10%, ash 60%, silt 30%
Bedding: massive
Inclusions: frequent 20% charcoal flecks + frags. 5-20 mm and smaller flecks <1 mm, moderate white salts <2 mm, (moderate) 5% orange flecks <1 mm 2%, phytoliths small <3%
Post-depositional Features: salts, possibly truncated to S by bin cut
Basal Boundary: anthropogenic/abrupt/smooth to N/irregular to S
