Floor of burial lide removed, revealing a clear outline into the floor for the burial (/). The material was consistently whitish (pale brown), sharply delineated from the packing below it and the upper floor to the north and front of it. The outline is rectangular in shape (vs oval) - this may indicateit is a cut for something other than a burial.
Burial lid continued under baulk (unit 6353) (6/8/00.Eastern edge of burial cut is evident once baulk was removed.
