Discussion: We exposed the bones completely that had been exposed partly last year (2000). 6693 is the soil above and surrounding the skeletons. The texture is middenny and massive; the same as last year. The unit number has changed with the new year. WE maintained this as a single unit until the individual articulated skeletons were fully exposed. After the expostition of the bones Lori and I identified 3 individuals. 2 articulated individuals, one disturbed and completely scattered. The disturbed individual (skeleton 8113) was removed with the soil surrounding these bones as part of this unit. The soil immediately surrounding sk 8114 and sk 8115 are in new units. The burial cuts (F. 634, 644 & 647) have been examined relative to the skeletons. It appears that F. 634 relates to sk 8115 and F. 647 to 8114. It is possible that sk 8113 relates to F. 644 but this is not at all clear since this skeleton was scattered throughout the unit.
RET- Samples 7 and 8 were the result of cleaning the sides of the burial cuts after removal of the skeletons. They include some of 6653 which is not to serious a problem.
