Unit 8222

Category: layer    dug in 2001

Area: North

Interpretive Categories: floor and packing of NE corner

Data Category Information: none

Discussion: Removed packing 1-5cm thick, rubbly (oven material most likely) and came down to white- yellowish floor with bits of material on it. There's a possible cut too, extraordinary it's outer line circles around F.784 the cut U8188 and that's all somewhat dubious, but the line of this new cut seems to continue to the west and south. See what happens packing revealed a depression in our platform and salty (phytoliths) stuff is on there. Dosen't look like a cut yet

X1 and X2 fit together both found in packing
X3 and two black pottery pieces (fit together)

Sample 6 is what's left of that joining bit of basins in upper floors. Well this is now stuff below that, but was standing slighlty proud and removed as a part of this unit. Think it represents remnant of floor which would be associated with oven F.785, but was scoured in antiquity.
