Discussion: Charcoal deposit in midden, very distinct and clear. Quite loose silt. Deposited from buildings to N and S (B. 132 and B. 52). Unit was excavated by trowel and brush.

Colour: blackish grey 

Texture: silt 

Bedding: layered 

Inclusions: Charcoal, burnt clay, bone fragments 

Post-depositional Features: animal burrowing 

Basal Boundary: anthropogenic, abrupt, prominent contrast, wavy form, concave, rough
