Discussion: This is a thick accumulation of many plaster layers applied to bench F. 7966. It functioned to bind the brick placed against the eastern post to the rest of the bench makeup. It was excavated by leaf trowel, and contained no finds. 

Consistency: crumbly, somewhat compact near bottom 

Colour: white 

Texture: plaster 

Bedding: layered-- many inseparable layers of plaster applied to bench 

Inclusions: none 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: clear, came down on bench makeup and brick placed against post on E wall which was later built into the bench
