Dimensions: 8.8m W to E/ 0.4m N to S/ 0.32m 

Description: Dark grey coloured mortar, silty clay and contains small fragments if ( 2mm) charcoal and sand grits. It is dry. It has varied thickens but normal thickness swings around 5cm.

No post depositional features are seen. Basal boundary flat, straight, and which upper and lower courses of bricks.

This unit was dry sieved, however, the amount was not recorded. 

Discussion: mortar in wall F4 and F6 which goes with bricks (3007)
