Discussion: This unit, the brick portion of wall F.3098, was recognized as clearly separate from the mortar that made up the rest of the wall due to its firmer consistency, and clear brick shape. In some cases, the bricks could be removed intact, with dimensions close to 900x300x100mm. The wall was internal, on the north end of the building 77. To excavate this unit we removed the layers of brick and mortar one by one, using light pick axing and some troweling. By the middle of excavation we noticed that the wall was not bonded to wall F.3094 but was instead a budding. It was clearly not connected to the outside wall but was probably built up next to it at a later time. Some special characteristics of this wall was its varied burning (which created a brown to grey color gradient) and the fact that it was budding.
