Discussion: Wall plaster - small piece of wall plaster visible extending around corner onto wall F.484 above crawlhole F.500.

Plaster on level VIII wall to north of space 173 which stood 0.45-0.5m high when recorded. Present on nearly whole wall face (gaps may simply reflect where wall has dried out and plaster collapsed). Generally 4 - 6mm thick but more when filling depressions in wall face and in lower part at western side the plaster is up to 30mm thick and overhangs the level IX wall below.

At eastern end in contrast the wall is set back from the level IX wall face which appears to form North arm of bin F.488. At the base of the wall plaster ?surfaces appear to run right up to the bricks a few cm above the base of the wall as excavated.
