Description: Mortar between bricks on wall F1523. Not excavated in 05 season, excavated in 07
Discussion: Mortar contains waste midden material in its matrix (such as burnt brick material, charcoal, obsidian). A pit (F1530), cutting through midden material, is located 5m to the east of this wall. There lies the possiblity that the primary function of this pit was to retrieve its material for this house's construction.
