Discussion: Mortar in mudbrick wall F.2424, running roughly north-south alignment.
(2012) This unit represents the mortar layers between the mudbrick courses of the eastern wall of B.105 (F.2424). The mortar is firm and of a very sandy consistency. It is of a white to beige color and has few inclusions. It was sampled both for flotation and for the archive.
(2013) Interdigitates with brick (U.16850). Clear boundaries in section but less distinguishable whilst digging, partly due to erosion of top layers.
For further discussion, see U.16850.
Flotation sample is documented for 16850.
