Dimensions: 2.8m N-S X 3.1 M E-W X 0.4m deep 

Discussion: This unit consists mainly of parts of midden and mixed clay areas that were around collapsed walls and bricks (not excavated.) Four large blocks of probable floors (from roof areas) were excavated and collected. The largest block was c. 64x34x15cm. They were marked from S.5 to S.8 on the plan. The northern and eastern parts of the unit were more midden-like. The northern area contained some fragments of clay balls and burnt pieces of clay. The eastern part of the unit was more homogenous and blackish, and contained very little artefacts.
