Description: The layer is a loose layer of makeup to the plater floor layers. It is a patchy layer with a grey colouring, containing ash and large (12 inches) chunks of charcoal (a few scattered).
Discussion: The layer was very thin and patchy, keeping with the pattern of the layers or makeup and plaster in this area. It does lap up onto the platform F.5038. The layer does seem to overlap some packed layers of diry foor directly to the North . It is not extremly clear how this layer articulates with the plaster packing layers to the West.
