Data Category Information: In Situ: non in-situ; Location: external; Material: brick; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: U. 20272 is a deposit of mud-brick, cut into by late wall f. 3948. Left unexcavated at end of 2012 season. Shapes of bricks are clearly discernible.
2013: 20272 was found to extend nearly across the trench, E-W, bounded to the E by wall f.7172, to the N by f.3952, cut into to the W by [30837] of f. 7191, and cut into to the south by terracing cut [30229]. It consists of redeposited, eroded mud-brick from Neolithic architecture. It was excavated by pick and spade until the appearance of walls below this unit-- f.7252 and f.7253, and the evident room fill between all of these walls (u. 30844) which was capped by all of this collapse.
