Discussion: The infill of the cut was recognized after the infill u. 21128 was removed from space 99. The top of the infill in the trench, u. 21171, and the infill east of it, u. 21139, had different inclusions. It was hard to separate the infills (and cut) in the north. Also between infill from f.7338 and the northern foundation trench f. 7327. This is due to mudbrick debris included in the infills.

The infill in the southern part of the trench differed from the one further north. It had a more yellowish colour and were much more firm. Therefore it was seen as a seperate infill and cut at first. In the end, all the infills were interpreted as variations of one single infill in one single cut, of F.7338. The infills are excavated in arbitrary layers.

The cut is located in the western part of space 99, in N-S direction. Between the the southern wall, f. 7103, and the northern wall, f.7105. The cut was truncated by two post-neolithic graves. It was also truncated by the midden in south east. The foundation trench, and the cul, was made in a "wall erecting process" while building the wall f.3678.
