Discussion: Eroded top of N part of wall 253- generally impossible to distinguish brick and mortar. This was continued for wall behind plaster 2746 because brick and mortar still hard to distinguish, brick was like type C of unit 2009, while mortar was very clear and not 'middeny'.

Colour: 2.5 Y 5/3 -4 light olive brown

Inclusions: < 2 % charcoal (but consistently present)
