Discussion: This unit was a part of a dirty floor coverin all B.102. This unis is the floor in Sp.18, a more disturbed area than Sp.17 floor. This layer was recorded wuth infill and makeup, simply because the borders were gradual and diffuse. It had been so much disturbance so divid it more would have been arbitrary.
It contained many ground stone fragments. My guess is that a majority come from the thereshold area's clay and stone pack. (F.7300) in the S part. Generally a lot of activities have given this interesting layer. It was thick also and had a lot of soil. It seems to have been accumulated from activities which is the predominant feature of this space.
Consistency: hard packed but friable with trowel
Colour: Yellowish and greyish brown
Texture: clayey silt
Bedding: compound: mixed floor with infill
Inclusions: stones large sized, pure clay inclusions
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows, roots
Basal Boundary: Diffuse in S part, cleaner in N. Because is an eroded phytolithic floor
