Discussion: It is a small cut may be infill in the make up. Cuts through make up look a part of cut (unit 3616) might be later than the make up filling?
* was categorised as cut on original unit sheet, had to change the original category to layer due to description following that of a layer (JB).
Recognition: Very different, loose, light grayish soil, surrounded by more compact and darker grayish soil, seems related to unit (3616).
Definition: Next ti unit (3616), lower than the surrounding layers.
Execution: Leaf trowel only.

Consistency: soft, easy to excavate
