Discussion: Multiple applications of wall plaster and floor plaster and packing adhering in patches to south facing wall 52 associated with space 108 and at NE corner of dog-leg in the wall. These were primarily recorded in section to show location and depth which gives a height on the floor levels of space 108 or of Mellaart's floors 1084 excavated in 1996.

As these floors and wall plaster survived only as a skin on the face of the wall left by Mellaart's excavations little was done apart from routine samples (archive and flotation) and section recording.

In the extreme Western section where these plasters hit the edge of the excavation area was an area of floor plasters with red fragment - again in multiple layers. Not sure whether this was a paint or pigment dust as found through doorway 55 as unit 1525.

Recognition: Adhering to south facing wall face of wall 52 in space 108.

Definition: Floors laid on basal packing material and top defined by wall where plaster fallen off.

Execution: Trowel - flotation and archive only.
