Discussion: 4966 was the irregular but distinct cut containing burnt material, oven demolition debris and a stone/ clay ball fragment cluster. It clearly cut through the floor layers of 4978 to the south-east and truncated the earlier cut 4510. 

Shape: An irregular oval 

Sides: ~60 degree sides to the south, west and north, more gently sloping to the east 

Base Break: Curved gently into the base 

Base: Sloped from west to east, but fairly smooth 

Orientation: E-W
