Unit 11027
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: Fill,Midden
Data Category Information: Location: external; Deposition: finely bedded
Discussion: We descended in this level to the elevation of the wall on the S side of space 242, in order to give it more definition, as well as to further define wall feature 1752. This unit was excavated independently of unit 11028, due to a difference in sediment consistency and texture. This unit has a higher clay content. A thin plaster line was noted in the W portion of this unit which likely indicated the S face of the wall on the South side of space 242. However, while cleaning this feature, the line, disappeared at a depth of one centimeter (did not continue into next layer/unit).
