Discussion: When we reached the floor on the north of the 'Fire Installation 11' and in front of the West wall of Space 70, two group of charred remains 'acorn' were found. One of them was deeper than the floor (X4).After we collected these remains (X4), the whiteness was appeared at the bottom of the remains. This whiteness cause to we think that these remains (X4) might have been in a small basket. We took a sample from this whiteness (S13). In the SW corner of this unit, there was a deep and dark burnt area with many colours. The plan of these remains were drawn (96/84) and taken photograph and the floor cleaned. Unit description: A small unit consisting of two sets of sheep's feet, one O/C mandible fragment and one Bos mandible fragment. One of the sheep's feet = a metatarsal plus phalanges that was clearly burnt in articulation but wasn't found in articulation (fallen in building collapse?). (Description truncated at this point). Sample 9 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Small sample of a few little bits of scrap, only 1 over 1 cm (barely). About 1/3 are burnt at low temperatures. Weathering variable, but look trampled and kicked around. All sheep-size. Looks like clean floor. Sample 10 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. Largely consists of fragments (modern breaks) of a young burnt cattle scapula. Also a few odd sheep-size scrappy bits, some digested. The little bits look quite worn and kicked around. The scapula is relatively fresh and looks to have been in good shape in the ground, although it is now shattered and most of the pieces lost. Looks like clean floor with a scapula left/placed on it when the house burned. Sample 11 >4mm flotation 100% sorted, recorded completely. This sample is somewhat larger than the others, with bigger pieces and more burning. More large mammal than sheep-size, more weathered. No coherence; looks like fill. Last record = 57
