Discussion: This is a midden layer placed just underneath the midden recorded as 17636. It is more ashy and silty than the latter. It is contemporary with adjacent middens recorded as units 17630 and 15847. The midden is homogeneous and contained a large number of organic material, mainly animal bones and charcoal.
