Discussion: The unit consists of a construction rubble layer mixed with midden, ca. 15-20 cm thick. It was located in the E part of sp. 226, to the E of U. 8872 and 8873. It runs along a structure, which might be a wall. In order to find out whether it is a wall indeed, we decided to remove U. 8876 and to release the wall and follow its outlines.
After removal of the unit, we are able to see more clearly the wall (it was given a F number - F. 1453), which is a part of a probable space.
The unit yielded a small number of pottery sherds, obsidian chips and animal bone.
