Unit 1084
Category: layer dug in 1996
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: floors
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: niche; Material: mixed; Deposition: composite (floor/bedding/plaster/packing/occupation)
Dimensions: 1.3m x 0.2m x 0.05m
Discussion: A series of floors and make-up layers, which are present in spaces 107 and 108 and in the gap ( 96/51) between these two spaces. On the step at different horizons of plaster, were small drips of red paint. These are definitely not applied in bands, or rather we haven't found expanses and in a couple of cases, clear drips can be seen. These are at 1006.22 and 1006.25. There is at least one layer of red paint in space 107 going vertically up the step and scant patches on the step itself, at least three layers of paint spread throughout. 1084 extends to South of gap 96/55 before being cut by 1095.
