Discussion: Equivalent to 2751, the basal lining but divided because of animal burrow that obliterated the relationship. Also same as 2309 excavated from the eastern section. represents the constructional lining of the oven. Quite distinct material from the wall, a deliberate, the numbers marked on the skeleton plan refer to the discoloration through rubification which was also present in 2751.

Condition: hot 

Consistency: moderately firm towards back but firm at surface 

Colour: rubified deposit with 3 distinct colors: surface 10YR 6/4 light yellowish brown; middle 10 YR 5/3 brown; back 10 YR 6/3 pale brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: 30% phytoliths >3mm 

Post-depositional Features: 20% natutal salting 

Basal Boundary: clear anthropogenic
