Discussion: Brown silt layer sloping down to S. Part of E/W ridge which runs through this square and the one to the E. Truncated by cut for F290 (3932). Possibly floor.

Definition: Continues into E baulk, cut to W by (3932).

Condition: Very tired.
Consistency: compact
Colour: (3974) is a compound layer consisting of layers (3940, 3922 and 3929) where they met under the W baulk of space 117. See separate unit sheets for further explanation. All these units lay above a 'platform' feature to the SW of the deposits.
