Discussion: Layer of floors at W end of 'dirty' area space 151 lapping up against ridge of clean plaster material to W. Floor(s) layer thickest at W edge where up against plaster ridge, up to 0.05 m thick here. Floor layers visible on surface, tipping E-W, though against plaster ridge in places ran up the edge of the ridge ( see sketch section )! Up to approx.18 layers, visible in section, consisting of thin plaster of a few mms, ashy grey layers and brown silty layers. Didn't get a section through the thickest section of floors, but these floors ran into the baulk and partly into N area of excavation (at N end of unit on W side took off wedge of material that prob. strictly not part of this series of floors, part of clean area layers).

Recognition: Recognised when cleaning, E edge visible as lip of material, brown colour contrasting with greyer material beneath.

Definition: Clear definition to E, probably clear to W if on excavation layer does run up to white plaster edge as expected .
